Readers' Workshop

During Readers' Workshop children are independently applying reading strategies taught during the mini - lesson in books they have chosen; at their independent reading level.  What do readers do?  They choose Just Right Books, read for long periods of time, use reading strategies to understand, have conversations about reading.
