You bought 4 skiens and each yarn is 2.99 so we used 6 x 2.99 so what we did was go on paint and did the math and you payed the cashier $12.00 and you got $1.00 in change back from the cashier.
We think she bought 3 rolls of yarn and we think that because we saw that it said she bought more than 2 bought it is not 5 so it would have costed $9.00.
We think you are right because you guys did the math peffect.
You guys put a lot effort on the blog comment.
Mrs.Mercier went to walmart to by skiens of yarn and she got 4 and each of them costs $3 and when she went up to the cashire she gave him 1 10 dollar bill and 2 1 dollar bills and in all cost 12 dollars. And we figured this out by multiplying 3x4=12.
She bought 3skeins and she spent 3$ and you gave a ten dollar bill we found it by repated aditton
Good job guys. From us Dylan and David.
It would be four because it cantbe 5 and it shouldnt be six because thats to close to seven but if it was four it would be ahead of 2.99 but not much behind of seven
so it would be about $12 because each roll cost about $3
so you would use 1 $10 bill and 2 $1 bills
we got our answer by comparing numbers and using equal groups
you bought 3 skeins so $2.99+$2.99+$2.99=$9.00 and that means you paid $10.00 and got a buck back.
Mrs.Mercier bought 6 skins of yarn.
Each one cost $3.00
She spet about a total of $18.00.
She gave the casher a $20.00 bill.
Good job nasir and jenna.

you guys did your math prefect
Great excplaning how you found your awnsor it was easy to understend
did she get any change
You bought 4 rolls and you paid 8.46768 Euros or 11.96 US Dollars and you paid a 10, 1 dollar and 3 quarters and 2 dimes and 1 penny.
