As you know, I am frequently at Barnes and Noble ~ at least twice a week!  During my recent visit there, I spent $24 on books.  Because of my educator's discount, each book cost the same.  How many books did I buy and how much did each book cost?

If you bought 3 books it would cost $8 each. I counted down from 24 by 3. I kept doing that until I reached 0.
